I am VERY excited! On Saturday, the 30th, I will be doing a dance workshop at a local dance studio!
The Montgomery County libraries are doing it for kids 12-18.
It's an all day workshop! 6 HOURS of dancing!!! I can't wait! Although they will be doing some styles I'm not particularly fond of, (hip hop & modern) they will be doing Ballet, & improvisation!
I've been working on stretching & getting worked out so I'm not quite so sore on Sat. :)
I'm looking forward to dancing again!
The workshop is being held at Boni's Performing Arts Studio in the Woodlands. I have been at this studio once before for a Summer Intensive 2 years ago w/ a dance company called Ad Deum (meaning: Unto God) Two of the teachers from that studio will be teaching during the workshop! (I met one of them at the intensive)
I'll update after the workshop on how it went! (maybe even a few pics if I remember the camera ;-)
