In Honor of my Daddy!

Father's day is coming up fast! Only a few days away!
It's a day for us to honor our father's for helping, teaching, and being there for us!

I entered a contest where I had to write a report on why my daddy is so important to me.
Below is what I entered:

I may be prejudice to say that my daddy is the best daddy in the world, but I can't help that! He has helped teach me godly principals, and has always been there for me and my 6 siblings.

During all my growing up years, I have memories of playing dress up, and he would happily play along with me. I would dress him up as a goofy person, or a king. Those times were, and still are very precious to me. He would always go out of his way to play with us, or help us. One time he took a whole Saturday just to help me with a school science project even though he needed to be working on the re-model of our house! Now as I am older, looking back at my childhood makes me fall in love with my daddy all over again, just like when I was a little girl!

Through this past year, he has really helped teach me ho to grow into a godly young woman. He has taught me the importance of being an older sister, (the second oldest of 7) and the influence I have on my 5 younger siblings. Along with my mom, he is training me for that special day I will be married to "the one" and begin my own family.

I praise and thank God every day for my loving Daddy!
